Embedding documents with an iFrame

Every published document is also available as a bare page for iframes: the text only, without header, footer or navigation. The embed always shows the latest published version, so a new release updates every site that embeds it.

Part	Values

`platform`	Optional platform ID of the brand, for example `web` or `app`. Without it, the brand-wide document is shown.
`document`	`privacy`, `terms`, `imprint`, `cookies` or `custom`
`language`	`en`, `bg` or `de`. A text that is not translated yet is shown in English and marked as such.

Copy the result into your page. The generated code looks like this:

data-tano-legal and loader.js make the frame grow to the height of the document. The loader accepts messages only from https://legal.tanotrading.com, ignores anything else and never grows a frame beyond 20000 pixels.
Without the loader, set a fixed height and let the frame scroll, for example style="width:100%;height:640px;border:0".
Always give the frame a meaningful title for screen readers.

Options

Option	Effect
`?theme=light` or `?theme=dark`	Forces the colour scheme. Without it, the embed follows the visitor's system setting. The page background is transparent.

Who may embed

Only the pages under /embed/ can be framed. Every other page of this site refuses framing.

The domains of the brands and platforms of the hub are always allowed.
The operator can allow further websites in the admin under Settings, Network, or allow every site with *.
A change to this list takes effect with the next release.

If your page uses a Content Security Policy, allow frame-src https://legal.tanotrading.com and script-src https://legal.tanotrading.com (for the loader).

Behaviour

The embed sets no cookies and contains no tracking or advertising.
Links inside a document open in a new tab. The footer line of the embed links to the full page with its version history.
The embed is not indexed by search engines (noindex).
While the site notice that this site has no legal relevance yet is active, it is shown at the top of every embed. It disappears from all embeds when the operator removes it.
The document shows its version number and the date of its last update.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Cause
The frame stays empty or shows a refusal	Your website is not on the allow list, or the browser console reports `frame-ancestors`. Ask the operator to add it.
"Page not found" inside the frame	The document is not published yet, or the brand, platform, document or language in the address is misspelled.
The frame has a scrollbar and a fixed height	`loader.js` is missing or blocked, or `data-tano-legal` is not set on the iframe.
Wrong language	Change the language part of the address. Untranslated documents appear in English.
